OVERVIEW

Marco graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Laws and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws.

Marco primarily focuses on corporate finance and commercial transactions. He has participated in a number of capital market projects, including initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, general offers, post-IPO financing and other conventional corporate and commercial matters. He represents issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings on the Main Board and GEM of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Marco also works on compliance matters in relation to issuers listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and other private companies. He has also participated in various transactions in the bond capital markets, the SFC licensing matters and the acquisition of SFC licensed corporations.

Marco is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

WORK HIGHLIGHTS
  • Representing Xin Yuan Enterprises Group Limited (stock code: 1748) and assisting in its listing on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Xin Yuan Enterprises Group Limited is mainly engaged in the provision of asphalt boat rental services.

  • Representing Solar Star Global Limited (as the offeror) in the mandatory conditional cash offer made by Kingston Securities Limited on its behalf to acquire all the issued shares of and cancel all the outstanding share options of Hua Xia Healthcare Holdings Limited (stock code: 8143).

  • Representing the bank, participating in the issuance of US$200 million private bond by a state-owned enterprise headquartered in Xi’an, China, as the first foreign currency bond issued by a company in the Shaan’xi Free Trade Zone.

  • Representing the bank, participate in the issuance of US$50 million private bond by a Hong Kong subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise headquartered in the Inner Mongolia, China, which is primarily engaged in the business of production of steel producing steel.
