Santos was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2021. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong and obtained his Bachelor of Social Sciences (Government and Laws) degree and Bachelor of Laws degree in 2018 and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in 2019.
Santos has experience in contentious insolvency matters, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, commercial disputes and regulatory matters, etc.
Advising and acting for provisional liquidators/liquidators of listed companies in (i) pursuing professional negligence claims and (ii) proceedings involving avoidance of dispositions of property under s.182 of the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance (Cap. 32).
Acting for minority shareholder/director of a food and beverage company in an application for winding up on just and equitable grounds and appointment of provisional liquidators.
Acting for clients in regulatory matters and disciplinary proceedings commenced by the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
